Q. After opening our wedding gifts, we discovered that three didn't have cards attached. I hate to think that the mystery gift givers won't receive a proper thank-you note. What should we do?
A. Pull out your guest list and cross off the names of those you've already thankedhopefully, there will be only three names remaining. If so, call those guests and delicately inquire whether they gave you that silver serving tray or 10-speed blender, then write them thank-yous.
Another option: Write guests who attended your wedding but who are not on your "gifts received" list and thank them for joining you on your big day. When the unknown gift givers see that you haven't acknowledged their presents, they'll likely ask if something is amiss.
