Q. I adore my bridesmaids, but none of them has ordered her dress yet, and now I'm worried that their gowns won't be ready in time. What do I do?
A. Obviously these women are good friends of yours; otherwise you wouldn't have asked them to be in your wedding. It's easy for a bride-to-be to forget that other people have demands on their time and budget too, and your bridesmaids might be busier with work and family right now than they had expected.
To help ease time constraints, volunteer to place the order for the dresses. If your bridesmaids still seem MIA, then propose a heart-to-heart, and listen to their concerns with an open mind. But don't "fire"anybody from your party. It would be a shame to damage a friendship during one of the happiest times of your life.
