Q. I never wear makeup. If I apply concealer, do I need foundation as well?
A. Not necessarily. Christy Coleman of N.Y.C., makeup artist for Emmy Rossum, loves Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer ($45; kevynaucoin.com) because it blends in seamlessly. "It hides darkness or redness under the eyes and around the nose and won't get crêpey," says Coleman, who daubs on the tiniest amount with a synthetic brush. "I also smooth a little over the eyelids and set it with powder to keep eye shadow from creasing."
