Q. How do I achieve a glow that won't look completely fake in my photos?
A. Makeup artist Mary Phillips of L.A. used Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheers ($55; giorgioarmanibeauty.com) on Avril Lavigne for her wedding. "They create naturally radiant skin without looking makeupy," she says. Phillips blends No.2, a beige tone, on cheekbones, temples and brow bones "for a lifting effect." She also pats No. 0, a shimmery white, at the inner corners of eyes "to make them appear bigger and brighter." To balance the subtle shimmer, keep the T-zone matte.
