Q. I've heard of many couples using an iPod to supply the tunes for their wedding? Is this really a practical idea?
A. Absolutely! Plenty of celebrity couples are pulling the plug on traditional music options and playing their iPods instead. Actress Kathleen Robertson and husband Chris Cowles rented a speaker system and designated Robertson's brother-in-law master of ceremonies. Actress Diane Neal and Marcus FitzGerald didn't want to take a chance on a local DJ for their wedding, so they also hooked up their iPods to a stereo system.
Ari Abramowitz, author of Pockit Rockit (Music Guru, $13), suggests allowing plenty of time to assemble your playlists, making separate ones for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing."
