Q. I have one more potential bridesmaid than my husband has groomsmen. I really don't want to eliminate any of my closest friends. Is it acceptable to have an uneven number of attendants?
A. It's perfectly fine to have more bridesmaids than groomsmen. At most weddings, bridesmaids walk alone or in pairs, and so do groomsmen. But you can get creative with your groupings. In your case, the male and female attendants can exit the ceremony in pairs, with one cluster of threetwo bridesmaids and one groomsman.
