Jill Scott & John Roberts
R&B singer Jill Scott celebrated more then just her debut performance at New York City’s Carnegie Hall on Friday, June 20, 2008. Mid-performance, the singer’s drummer, John Roberts, came out with a bouquet of yellow roses and Scott announced their engagement, according to RollingStone.com. The Grammy Award winning artist then performed songs from her latest album, The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol. 3, to an elated crowd.
