"It's nice to be less regimented with the children in the wedding party," says Gartin. In the case of one client's nuptials, that meant ditching the typical white flower girl dresses in favor of these fuchsia frocks by Saeyoung Vu. And instead of stiff shoes, Gartin opted for pink ballet slippers, which she embellished with fabric butterflies using hot glue. "You can find lots of accents for the girls' hair and slippers at your local crafts store," she says. "Those add a little fun."
