Though often overlooked in favor of fussier fare, the best food is often the favorite local dish. Among the many appetizers at Oren's reception were corn tortillas prepared on-site by a local cook and served with fresh sauces. Dinner included mahimahi ceviche and grilled steak with salsa verde. Rather than going with plated meals, Oren and Cutler decided to let guests share food arranged on nine platters, a relaxed way for all to enjoy dinner.
