A moist sour-cream chocolate cake is brushed with orange-flavored liqueur and layered with ganache and a slightly chunky, bittersweet orange marmalade. A final glaze of shiny ganache is poured on top, and slices are served with orange peel. "A chocolate cake is a nice break from tradition," says Smeal.
