After Lavigne changed into a sleek Chantilly lace
dress, also by Vera Wang, the newlyweds followed a row of pink lanterns toward the
reception, which was held in a red organza tent filled with touches both artfully gothic and unmistakably personal. At tables boasting lush red roses, guests dined on beef tenderloin with haricot verts, salmon with basil risotto and, for vegans, wild mushroom ravioli. The couple quickly got down to the business of being rock stars, dancing with family, friends and each other to songs by the likes of Nelly Furtado and Gwen Stefani (DJ Kelly Cole of the L.A. club Hyde spun the tunes).
