The Boston Globe reports that the couple, who met at an L.A. grocery store in 2003, were married by a city clerk, with New York mayor Michael Bloomberg stepping in as a witness. Two days after the ceremony, Pompeo and Ivery were spotted courtside at a New York Knicks basketball game. "A wedding is a piece of paper," Pompeo told reporters in September. "I don't need a big dress or 400 people to declare my love."
