HOW-TO Apply a smoothing lotion to wet hair, says stylist Naomi Knights. Then blow-dry with a large round brush, rolling the brush all the way up to the root and twisting the brush as you unwind to keep the bends. Take the hair from the top of the head and secure in place with a band. Lightly tease the small ponytail section. Use heavy control spray to keep hairs around the face smooth.
INSIDER TRICK If the bottom needs smoothing very gently run your flat iron over sections twisting your flat iron as you go to keep the bend in the hair.
