Life imitated art when Martin painted a self-portrait of him proposing and gave it to Williamson on February 13, 2007, in their L.A. home. As she opened the gift, he got down on one knee and presented her with a cushion-cut 2-carat diamond ring bookended with black diamond pavé bands from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills.
