Though some brides may think that orchids are tropical flowers suitable only for beach weddings, stars like Demi Moore are choosing them for indoor ceremonies too. Florist Mark Held of Mark's Garden in L.A. used orchids at both the ceremony and reception for Pink and Carey Hart's wedding in Costa Rica. N.Y.C. floral designer Karen Bussen, who created a cascading bouquet for Susan Levin, Robert Downey Jr.'s bride, says that orchids have a practical as well as a pretty side: Most are fragrance- and pollen-free, ensuring that guests will hear only "I do," not "achoo."
